In this video, we share our unforgettable adventure at Oeschinen Lake in Switzerland.
Yesterday, we arrived at the Oeschinensee cable car station around 5 PM, hoping to make it to the lake. However, with the last cable car leaving at 6 PM and a 40-minute walk to the lake from the top, we had to postpone our visit.
Today, we came earlier, but the footpath to Heuberg was closed due to bad weather. Determined to see the lake, we took the cable car to the top and began the hike. The weather wasn’t ideal, but we managed to reach the lake after a 45-minute walk and decided to explore its breathtaking surroundings.
As time flew by, it was suddenly 5 PM-the last cable car departure time. Despite our best efforts, we couldn’t make it back in time. Realizing the station was deserted, we had no choice but to descend on foot. Navigating wet, slippery trails with a few wrong turns, we faced a challenging 3-hour hike back to our car.
This experience taught us the value of preparation and resilience. Join us as we take you through the ups and downs of this adventurous day! Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more travel stories. 😊
