Hi Miss Louie... please check-recheck flying regulation in your destination countries, because in some countries/airport it's not allowed anymore to bring a SELFIE STICK and TRIPOD (prohibit/restricted item)... this rules stated in aviaton safety regulation.. You may bring it as a stated item in baggage, but not supposed to bring inside the cabin 😅😊🙏.. Anyway, great video ! I use to be a over packer big 29inch luggage and huge carry on stuff for two week or more trips now with all the trouble and problems with checking bags and bags being lost I try to do carry on only packing I went to Greece in June the lost luggage section was unreal thousands of lost luggage piled in a corner it's hard to pack light for long trips have to wash clothes always pack a outfit or two plus underwear and necessities in case luggage is lost it's never happened to me personally thank god but several people I know.

From what I’m seeing and hearing about travel these days, I’m too nervous to check a bag now. Im going to try to do a carry- on and a big personal bag 😮 Less to drag along when walking, especially overseas. I’ll see how it goes!

I travel a lot, both within country and internationally, and I've had my luggage get lost quiet a few times (two weeks on one occasion, many years ago..."forever" last year--it was never found). So, YES, if you can manage to only travel with your carry on, I absolutely recommend you do. Many airlines have VERY strict weight restrictions, so my top 2 suggestions: bring 3 pairs of shoes at the most (and wear the heaviest ones on the plane. For example, to go through airports, I wear socks and my closed-toe, walking shoes. In my personal item, along with 2 outfit changes, I carry the sandals that I'll wear to the beach/pool/leisurely strolling through town and sitting at a cafe. In my carry-on suitcase, a pair of low-heel dressy shoes for any elegant outings that call for such.) Second, pack a wardrobe capsule of versatile and "layer-able" pieces (a dress that can double as bathing suit cover up, a maxi skirt with elasticized waist that you can hike up over your bust to wear as a knee-length "dress", a huge scarf that you can double as a top...that type of thing. Be ruthless! Make sure every top goes with every bottom.) Do not waste space packing sleepwear. Wear the same joggers, shorts, or sundresses you pack for daywear to go to bed. Minimize your electronics and cords, and if you're traveling for less than 3 weeks, forgo the nonessential skincare. Nothing is going to happen if you skip the Vitamin C and the Retinol for a couple of weeks. If you wear makeup, pick a "nude" and a "bold" lipstick that can double as blush, and limit everything else to 1 (one mascara, one small, decanted amount of foundation, one eyeliner, one small, 4 or 6 shade eye shadow palette, etc.) Pack a moisturizer that can go on body, face, under eyes (For example, I love Neutrogena Hydro-Boost Body Gel-Cream, but it has to be the FRAGRANCE-FREE formula so it can go around the eyes.) DO BRING a good amount of your favorite facial sunscreen. Sure, you can find outstanding ones everywhere, but if you're picky like me...I don't have time to be "testing" formulas overseas only to find that they make me sweat, are too shiny, bother my eyes, make my makeup break up, etc. What else? If you blow-dry your hair, call you lodging and see if they have blow-dryers available. Do not pack anything that you can spare! Remember, you are traveling to enjoy yourself and make memories, not to put on a fashion show, so who cares if you have the same 4 tops in all the pictures? Do you look happy? Those who love you will see your smile, your sparkling eyes...no one will notice your "one" lipstick or your frizzier-than-usual hair. Pack for versatility and comfort, and, above all things, be grateful and appreciate the privilege it is to be able to go anywhere just because you want to.
