I just love how (seemingly at least) effortlessly your ideas flow from your mind onto your brush and to the surface you're working on. The spreading ink and washes of colour, the select details and little figures, I admire the free flowing nature of it. Do you start with a particular image/composition in mind, down to the placement of detail, or is it a vague idea of colour and texture that you work towards and figure out as you go? I'm genuinely intrigued by your process as I mainly work with graphites and have just started daring to try my hand at painting and exploring colour, and my process is starting to feel very restricting and challenging to any new ideas I come up with. Also, do you do any particular composition study exercises? I quite enjoy the forms you create within your scenes.
