International trucks were a common sight here in NZ in the 60's, 70's and 80's and were used extensively as fire appliances for many years until superseded by Scania and other assorted makes. Thanks for taking us along.

That wood block floor reminds me of where I used to work. They are around 3" thick and on top of a concrete subfloor if those are anything like the ones we had. They soak up oil and are better under feet than concrete. Plus if a few get real bad they can be pulled up and replaced.
