Back in the day when the length limit here in the USA was shorter, cabover semis were the king of the roads.

You just can't beat old school 1962 352 Peterbilt Cabover's and, you can't beat 1970's Peterbilt 352 Peterbilt Cabover's cause the 352 Peterbilt Cabover's always been my,favorite from Jason, L from RimRock Az.

Sure sounds like a 318! My Dad drove a 1960 and a 1962 with Pillsbury in Minneapolis. I can still remember that flat dashboard and the hand control for the trailer brakes on the dog house. There was an access on the dog house to check the oil as well

@@andrewking4885 they were rated 362 horsepower with #70 injector and when up to 475 hp in a marine application with #90 injectors.

the turbo charger is setup completely wrong. They needed to set them (twin turbos not a single) like those used in a marine application with an intercooler both turbos feed into. Having separate turbochargers on each cylinder is far superior than this antique arrangement that barely makes an increase is power. And yes there is room under to the cab because the marine version is low profile and worked like a charm in cabovers.
