Hello there, Sudden Impact was buffed last patch and I believe going sudden impact instead of treasure hunter is definitely worth it now, the early 9 lethality after you E in makes you win almost every match up

Tbh, in lower elo Samira is piss easy, just SS before 6 farm as much as you can, then win the game. But as time goes on you really need to get good at her weak and strong points and combos.

why not sudden impact and eyeball collection? like u are not gonna kill all 5 enemies early and once u get 2 items u pretty much won the game so is the extra gold that u get mid game even worth it over sudden impact?

as u said u need 3 kills to get a free 300 gold so if u already have 3 kills early game u pretty much already won and can start snowballing , i dont think the extra 300 gold will help.

also needs to be 3 different enemy players so if you dont get ganked or you roam u pretty much get stuck at 2 kills meaning u dont get the free 300 gold. while you could be farming the enemy bot lane at that point the stack still remains at 3 , i feel like that rune is more focused towards jungler assasins rather than adcs , cuz as i said even if u manage to get 3 kills u pretty much snowball already and the only thing u can buy with the extra 300 gold is boots.

Just go DrainTank Samira: Secondary Runes: Conditioning/Bone Plating/Second Wind (depending on matchup) + Revitalize. Items: Shieldbow + BT + Steelcaps + Death Dance + IE + Spirit Visage/LDR. Since Samira loves to be in the middle of enemy team, defensive stats are valuable. You'd be able to kill enemy backline effortlessly, and kill their tanks slowly later on.

Normally I put a lot of faith into these guides, and I used the last one for Samira and had favorable results-- but I'm a little iffy on the latter one. Most of it seems good, but at least personally, I feel like collector is a massive noobie trap, and I think that is largely because pros go it so much. Especially for a champ like Samira, snowballing is what you always want to plan to do, and in pro play you can usually make that happen with a character as strong as her, so building collector by default is usually fine. But, in lower tier play, where people don't play as well together, outside of getting to go serrated dirk early, collector is beaten stat-wise by much more dominant choices, such as LDR and even BT, although I agree BT is better later. I don't think anyone should ever default to building collector, and should only do it if they are actively snowballing and can get it quick, to start their IE, because if you go for it from behind, it's very unlikely you'll personally be coming back. At least from what I've seen.

I cant make up my mind on the collector to be fair. It seems like on the one side, collector stats seem perfect for Samira and on the other you got a lot of people raising their finger and pointing out that the stats are actually very gold inefficient. I personally went BT second for quite some time and also build collector second prior years and both felt good imo. The question remains, what option is better, or perhaps if there is some other option. Since you didnt mention one particularly interesting thing in your comment, ill say it just in case you didnt know. Have you ever felt, like especially in big teamfights, when someone dies, you have been able to stack up your passive too quickly? I noticed it, but didnt think much of it, just that perhaps i am combining my abilities better than i thought. Well, the interesting fact that i am not sure if everyone know is that collector execute counts as the unique ability towards your passive. So just killing an enemy, gives you stack and killing him with an unique ability gives you two stacks (one for the attack itself and the other for the collector execute). Combined with the fact that killing an enemy resets your E and that the collector helps with finishing off the enemy, the collector provides an incredible boost to the ability of Samira player stacking up the passive.

collector is enormously shit at the moment. if you fail to snowball with it and the game drags out, you end up wishing you'd skipped it and gone for ldr in the first place. the upside is not that good esp in low tier play (

What you're saying makes no sense. It's much easier to get kills in lower elo than in pro play. The lower you go, the more people will trade kills mindlessly, which means the collector is actually BETTER in lower elo than in pro play. And if you look it up on those league statistics websites, you can see that building Collector 1st or 2nd is statistically better than BT as well.

@@Eugdb bruisers are tanky and it's still more efficient to go LDR against them. Collector is pretty trash unless you get it early and are able to snowball, because it gives pretty low stats compared to other lethality items and, like mentioned earlier, is only good for snowballs and securing early resets. If you go Collector and enemy team is smart and itemizes against you, you won't get any value out of it. If you go LDR, you will do more damage overall and if you go at the correct timing, you won't have issues with resets. LDR is aslo more efficient in lategame where Collector falls of heavily.
