Animals get traumatized too. My family still had a dairy farm in the early 1970’s when the dairy barn on a farm south of us burned. We took in their herd. Some cows got burns and they were some very rattled cows.

If this was my cat I would be sobbing 😭😭😭😭 I love my cat soooo much and I had her since she was a kitten, I found her as a kitten in the middle of the street cars everywhere. Thank goodness the cat and the family are ok and alive. I hope the cat gets a new cat house sink. The poor cat wants her sink back.

I love this, but the reporter saying 'it really is the little things' fucking enraged me. Nobody who has had a furry family member would describe this as 'a little thing'. Anyone who has experienced something like this, you know your house doesnt matter at all, its your family, including any and all animals.

I think the reporter meant "little" in the literal sense of the word: i.e., a cat is physically small, or at least much smaller than a human. It was just a play on words; I don't think he meant to be condescending to cats.
