I hope the designing of Missing Link isn’t messing with Masterpiece. Thankfully we have 3P making up for Takara in the MP field. Not a fan of ML but happy for those who are. The obvious pick for ML is the Dinobots. I believe those molds are missing or degraded to the point they are unusable and that’s with the Dinobots have never been reissued.

I'm a TF-G1 guy...so if Megatron ain't becoming a Walther then I'll pass but I'll give consideration to the other Autobots and Decepticons that will be given a missing link treatment so that I can just play with them

Here's some I'd love to see in Missinglink: • Hot Rod, Kup, Blurr, & Springer. Gimme them to go with Arcee. • This is asking a bit much, but gimme a Missinglink Reflector!! • Spinout...whydafuq would they do Sunstreaker & Cordon, but *NOT THE ORIGINAL DIACLONE LAMBO!?* • Them Datsuns • Sideswipe (both G1 & G2 colors), Red Alert, Deep Cover, Clampdown, Tigertrack... • Skids, Crosscut, Reboost, Burnout/Diaburnout • Perceptor & Magnificus • Super Ginrai & Godbomber (both indimavidually AND as a full God Ginrai box set, as usual)

This video makes me so nostalgic for all the G1 figures I've sold. I've love all the Masterpiece and third-party figures I've acquired, but I wish I had the money to fill my shelves with the missing link figures, too.

I hope Arcee isn't a Missing Link figure. The prototype is rather goofy looking and, having never been released, the updated articulation won't have the same impact. I would just want it released as it would have been, back in '86. I would imagine that Wheeljack would be the most difficult to add articulation to, without making it look significantly different to the original. Starscream's arms could be done in a similar way to the Robot Masters version. They'd enough empty space, in that mid-section to house some forearms. Ironhide and Ratchet would benefit from a moulded head based off of the sticker face, but still behind the windscreen. The line is about enhancing the original figure, not making it look like the cartoon.

I've forgotten where I heard it, but we're getting a MP36(?) Megatron, and that the Missing Link designer stated he wanted to get away from the vehicles for the next one. Soundwave was the most articulated TF of the day, and not a huge deal to redo, so I think that means Megatron.

My #1 would be Mirage because he was the first Transformer I owned, but we won't see him because Takara could care less. I agree about Megatron and the Seekers, which could both be vastly improved. Finally, this is probably a bit too obvious, but Ultra Magnus.

Megatron would be a nice surprise, we all want it, but I don't think it will happen soon (maybe 2026?), they are going slow for something that is more a retool than a design form scratch, they seem to be testing the market yet... I think Soundwave fits the criteria -and I will be looking for him-, but that won't be surprising unless they come with something totally unexpected. Trailbreaker and Hoist would be easy to adapt but I don't think there is enough demand for them. Missing Link is a great opportunity for the collectors to experience some of this figures for first time, I live in Mexico and some figures were not released here in the 80's like Sunstreaker and Jazz. I expect to see the seekers sooner than later.

I really want Mirage, I really want Jazz, Prowl and Wheeljack, I wouldn't mind the omnibots because I was a big car kid first, jet guy later. Megatron will sell like gangbusters, and I think they should do a golden gun alternate plated option. I would get both and it's a win for Takara. Soundwave is pretty much there, also a solid choice and again, Takara can't miss with him, slam dunk. The seekers I could see at $85 each and they release all three. So I'd say they do seekers and then mid year to fall they come out with Soundwave because they know once they release Megs a lot of people will have what they want in Optimus and Megs. And I'd be all in for whatever they make as long as they don't price gouge repaints. I won't pay $50 extra because Optimus is yellow, same if they do it with Red Sunstreaker. If they did gold plate Megs, I'd pay double. That's the one repaint I'd be all in for. Because he'd look sick in gold plate and it would be a hit with 007 fans. Canon, nope, but it would be sick.

The figures are so much better now so I've moved on from this idea and not sure they could do g1 Megatron but if they did the g2 one I'd be in for that

I thought this was gonna be a slow drip line but for me it's too fast. Cordon would be a great release much later on but what purpose does he serve now? One or two every two years with amazing changes would be cool.

I'm not really going into the missing link figures. If they release a Megatron, I'd consider picking up him and Prime. But I'm all Masterpiece now.
