Missing Fruitland boy's family refuse to give up hope one year after his disappearance

It's been an entire year since Michael Vaughan went missing from his neighborhood in Fruitland, and every day since, his parents struggle to get out of bed. But, they do it for Michael, and the hope of his return.
Hope comes from their hearts, said Tyler Vaughan, Michael Vaughan's father. Every day when he doesn't want to get out of bed, he and Michael's mother Brandi Neal do it anyway to keep their family together.
"It was a very quick year," Tyler Vaughan said with a pause. "And... a long year at the same time. Time is a weird thing."

I know HClinton took the phrase and ran political with it, but in all honesty, it really does take a village to raise and also to protect our children. Please help where you can, watch out for kids in your neighborhood, on your block, in your apartment complex. They need us all.

I learned as a kid to laugh when I was nervous or uncomfortable, otherwise I would start getting yelled or screamed at by my mother. So I totally understand this. You're trying to put on a brave front but some of that nervousness still tries to escape.

My heart sank for this family. As a mom of small children I can feel the 0.05% pain, panic and heartache they must be feeling. I just couldn't imagine. it's easy to always blame the parents first - and the fact is, statistically, it usually is - however, look at the evidence, the little bit we have - neighbors saw Michael out and about, he was going to doors looking for someone to play with-why an adult neighbor would let a little 5 yr old boy walk off alone is beyond me - and i do believe one of those neighbors took him and he is nowhere near there any longer - his mom was at work, his dad was with the kids -Michael left the house on his own as he was sometimes known to do - some monster was all too aware of Michael, saw the chance and took it - so please, STOP BLAMING THE PARENTS OR THE COPS-there are monsters walking among us - there are anywhere from 200 to 4000 active serial killers operating in the United States right now - we are a sick sick anti-child society - Im sorry for little Michael and I do not believe he is coming home alive

Once a child is reported missing even if the parents are involved it is still classed as abduction. They dont say stranger abduction. I dont believe a word out of either parents mouth. Ive watched and listened and the truth never changes yet they contradict themselves always. I believed them in the beginning, they both changed my mind with all their story telling.
