as for dehydration...if you eat a lot of high water content foods DURING SEHRI such as watermelon or cucumber it will keep you less thirsty compared to just drinking water as water will just be removed through urine... additionally adding electrolytes OR pink himalayan salt OR seasalt to your water (instead of just drinking plain water) and drinking that during sehri and through out the day helps with the fast...
