CASE DETAILS
Walsh was last seen in Shaler Township, Pennsylvania on January 19, 2020. She had a scheduled therapy appointment the next afternoon but canceled it.
Her daughter was invited over for dinner on the evening of January 20.
When Walsh's daughter arrived at her mother's residence in the 100 block of Dolores Drive, Walsh's vehicle wasn't there. Walsh's cellular phone was inside the residence upstairs, but there was no sign of her. She has never been heard from again.
Walsh's car, a silver and black 2018 Chevrolet Trax with the Pennsylvania license plate number KTW-6007, has never been located. The circumstances of her case are unclear.
Friends of Janet and her husband from the fishing community reached out to AWP about this case and believe that Janet may have taken her own life after her husband took his own life just 60-days earlier.

To the AWP crew. Thank you. From Michigan. I started watching last year, listening and learning myself. Last week I noticed an elderly woman at the gas station looking confused. So I stopped and started to ask questions. It got dark early due to time change. She couldn’t read the street names and gotten confused and lost. My wife drover her car home as I followed. After we called her daughter. She only lived 8 miles from me. Thinking back watching your videos helped me look for the signs. That this nice women was in distress. Her family was so grateful to us to stop and help her. 10 minutes out of our day could of ended up very differently. Thanks Rob

It feels fishy since there was the huge backlash after Keily was found, like they're trying to end AWP because they found her. I have a cousin that was (I still believe falsely) accused and tried well after he turned 18, not back when his step-mother supposedly found out years before. She did it to damage his future, because nothing was really adding up about any of it.

PS: a plane went down in the Monongahela y McKeesport many years ago and was supposedly never found, that would make for a good video as it would solve a more than half a decade mystery.

The plane that went down was actually removed by the military. Since it was a top secret mission, they did it under cover of darkness, and didn't let the populace know. So most people still think the plane is there, but the river is not deep enough for it there without being a hazard.

Thanks Doug for the warning to folks about how dangerous it is to do what you do. I'd like to point out that any wreck or obstruction will frequently have debris around it that can trap you. You are generally working in near zero visibility so it makes seeing those snags virtually impossible to detect. If a diver gets hung up he's screwed. That's why we use the buddy system, but with severely restricted visibility it at least triples the danger. God bless you and the team.

Doug I live on the Allegheny River and in the winter there are ice jams...when searching find out the ice conditions and when the jam broke up. I started watching earlier this year and enjoy each of the search teams doing what you are.

It sounds like someone who dashed to the store to pick up a missing ingredient and then met with foul play or drove so sloppily she went off the road, perhaps into a pond instead of a river? Or just into a ravine that isn't visible to passersby.

My dive instructor was a retired rescue diver from Cincinnati Ohio . He retired because the Ohio river had strong currents, debris, zero visibility and extremely dangerous. Be safe gentleman. You guys are awesome for what you are doing.

People say 'it was all for the money'. OK. Do you question your doctor's and dentist's motives once they've helped you? Do you think medical or legal professionals are doing their work of helping you because they love you? Love, passion and dedication makes the difference between mediocre doctor and the great one. And those good ones are payed highly because they are good and their expertise is worth something. So should have been these guys. Of course they have to make a living and on top of that - why not? Your LE is financed from your pocket, tax payers pocket to do this job and they don't, obviously. These guys don't charge anything to you or to community/LE. If you don't want to support by watching or donating, buying merch, it's fine. But cut the BS about money grabbing. Whoever is doing any kind of work to highest standards with great results - should be payed. Highly. And please separate things. If it was your mom or kid missing for years without you knowing what happened to them, without having a grave or any answers, would you ask people who helped you find them for their criminal records? Would you refuse help cause they are less than perfect and had made mistakes in the past? I don't get people. All the envy, all the gloat. Personal indictment should have been dealt with separately and this organization, this dudes who were doing amazing job should have been left alone to continue with their great service. Hundreds of thousands of people are giving money daily on rubbish, drugs, alcohol, all sorts of crap. As many creators on social media are earning fortune by doing often content with no value and little effort. Why is make up worthy of fortune making and doing life endangering diving in a search and recovery operation is not? That's your value system? Fine. Go give money to whom you want. But to make a feeding frenzy and to bash and drag these guys, gloating for seeing them falling out of grace - is disgusting. Humans are often worse than animals. Hundreds of families and missing persons are deprived of help so that jealous, malicious human beings can justify their petty motives for bringing such a good cause down. Destroying it. Did you know who Walt Disney was? Shall we destroy all he made and take all the good fun from the kids because of it? No. Let justice system deal with individual for their crime. Let good causes alone to do good things.

I have dived by pinnacles that have strong currents in Australia. I am very experienced, been PADI certified since 2021. Also have a large amount of night dives. No visibility is different that a night dive with trained Master Dives. There is no way I would jump into rivers without great planning. Currents change and change fast.

One of the unique characteristics of a car is when it is moving between 37 and 45 MPH. The car suspension and this speed can launch a car in some very strange wrecks. Suspension jumps are easy above 37 MPH, many roads have dips that are tapered just enough to launch cars that are moving too fast. If you study how the stunt men jumped cars for the Dukes of Hazard, you will find their jumps were about 12" tall with a taper to a landing. The landing has to be long enough for the suspension to reset after full compression.

These guys are nothing short of heroes. It appears some questions concerning a jump to judgment, without assuming not everyone tells the truth, has had a very negative effect on finding missing people. My heart bleeds for those who were on the list to find their loved one. I watch every new video posted ASAP hoping to continue to support this team/channel.

She could of been kidnapped due to her situation of being a widow. Someone knew her situation and I feel in my heart she was abducted. She went to church, had her ingredients on the counter, she could of been followed by someone from church, or a local person, since she was reaching out for male friendship. It happened fast, so that’s why her phone was upstairs.

I’m so happy seeing Doug continue this valuable work!. AWP are the original and the best. I’m waiting for the legal system to do it’s work before passing judgement. I in no way condone the behavior that is being bandied about if it is true. But I also know there is a lot of jealousy and spite directed at Jarad and I hope this doesn’t turn out to be an attempt to discredit him by evil people, by accusing him of doing something when he was a 17 yr old kid.
