2018 Road King, mine works without a relay. Why are our bikes different?

NO idea, the book that came with the horn setup says if it has a short blip instead of a nice steady tone while holding it down you need the relay. Possibly the amount of power going to horn itself has enough to support it.

I ordered this last spring, and it didn't work at all. Contacted Co and they said needed this. I said no where in ads, your site or anywhere does it say I need extra parts. Demanded my money back. After 2 emails being very stern I received a full refund and still have this piece of shit still in the box. It's BS.
