where did you launch from exactly? good stuff, looking to get the old town Salty PDL 120 for this summer.

If you’re fishing in mission bay in San Diego there’s a little beach by quivera basin. I launch from there. You can find it on google maps. Has no surf so the launch is easy and a short paddle to the bait barge.

Yup. I do t normally net them. But this one was 1” above legal size. Did buy a new net after this though which will prevent the tail split.
