MISSION MUSSELCRACKER !!! - @Amanzimtoti Beach

In this video you will see Kam's mission to target , hook and land a White Musselcracker .
He fished 3 full days with little to no success and struggled to get any reef fish as the water was ice cold due to the north easterly wind.
Conditions were not favorable but Kam persisted and on the afternoon of day 3 got the bite he had been waiting for. After a quick fight Kam landed his Brusher and he was super happy.

Well done Cam! If you don't mind please explain the bite and when to set the hook !? Its a bucket list fish for me but struggling to get one. Im fishing Port Edward side.

Hi Deon, thanks a lot. The bite is similar to any decent size fish we get around the rocks, its a quick and aggressive bite with a lot of head shakes , the brusher picks up the bait whether it is a crab or mussel crushes it and takes off . You have to be quick to pick up the rod and try to keep it away from the rocks. Hope this was helpful, keep trying and you will get one, tight lines.
