Possibly my favorite MoB song. This isn't the version from the Taang! comp, though (which I prefer). This version first appeared (I think) on the 1988 Rykodisc comp, and has since been a bonus track on the CD reissues of VS.

Notice how they changed the 5th line of the lyrics from the original 1988 to this 1997 remastered version. Just a slight change though, I have the original, verified. KZbin's algorithms are pretty good though, it detected that this is the Remastered 1997 version from the Vs. album and not the 1988 original EP you extracted the lyrics from.

Yep, it's a different vocal track altogether I think. Perhaps done in '97.. In both versions though, the second line is 'Tacked with papers' not 'Tattooed papers'. The song on the Taang LP from 1988, was actually recorded in 1980 as part of the 'Electro-acoustic Session'.
