This hotel and the hotel del Coronado are two of my best hotel experiences ever, with that coastal vibe being surreal, especially sitting on the rooftop pool area looking out over the pier.

We haven’t stayed at the Hotel Del Coronado yet, it looked really nice when we walked around the property. Mission Pacific as well as the Seabird next door are both fantastic properties to stay at!

@@BevandRyan my room at Coronado was in the main Victorian building, the courtyard view was gorgeous. There are different tiers of room there from the basic ones in the main Victorian building to nicer cabana rooms and even villas. Contrasting the small town intimate coastal vibe of the Oceanside resorts, the Coronado is a coastal paradise on a grander more panoramic scale, though it can get a bit crowded there. And a killer breakfast buffet that is pricey but epic. Truly a one of a kind experience.

We really liked decor of the Seabird. We loved both properties but we would prefer to stay at the Seabird again.

Would you be able to tell me exactly when in May? I’m planning my wedding next year May 5, 2024 and I’m scared of the risk of May gray🥵 I’d love to do July to guarantee sunshine but then that comes with more crowds and more expensive prices lol

This was May 7-8. The weather is usually nice during the month of May but for even warmer weather, July will do! You are correct that it will be more expensive! Just make sure to book as early as you can!
