Cheeze free ki nhi hoti. Even increasing speed by additional 30 kmph takes a lot of extra funds. Hence IR is focusing on most routes that have high load.

Unless tracks are not fenced, speed cannot be increased. Track upgradation is not progressing well. Instead of track upgradation and fencing, the government is focusing on cosmetic changes , such as station redevelopment, which could have been done later. Track upgradation, fencing and upgradation of signaling will only ensure increase of speed.

220 is not possible on our track even after upgrade . We need dedicated elevated corridor, hence government is working on bullet train project

Implementation of Mission Raftaar is very important for the efficient running of trains particularly golden triangle and east-west and north-south corridors. Higher speed means trains like Vande Bharat can cover more distance and frequency of trains can be increased resulting in more revenues and savings of time of the passengers.

@desiavengersofficial580 to be honest, reason why we are using broad gauge vastly is because the usage of rail was implemented by British in India. They did not introduce rail to transport people rather for the goods. So They used broad gauge as it is was suitable for freight and goods transport. But our rail ministers after independence were such idiots They continued set up broad gauge rail tracks for both public transport as well as goods transport. They should have built separate corridors for goods transport with broad gauge and for public transport with standard gauge.
