Mission Santa Cruz, a tour by a fourth grader. The mission was founded in 1791 Fr. Fermin Lasuen and named for the feast of the Exaltation of the Cross. Mission Santa Cruz was founded in 1791 and was the 12th of the 21 Spanish Missions founded. The Mission Santa Cruz was built in the 1931 based on a painting they had of the original mission.
