MISSION STREET Walk amidst reports of ICE deportation activity in San Francisco, California

Today (January 27, 2025) was a gorgeous sunshiny day but the Mission District in San Francisco, California was eerily empty and quiet amidst reports of ICE agents ramping up deportation activity around the US. San Francisco is a sanctuary city and its Mission District is known for its overwhelmingly Latino neighborhoods is expected to be the target of crackdown of illegal immigrants.

I left the City when the venecos came in, we really wanted to support them as a community but they are made of something else entirely. Not all, just most. I miss home, but we are keeping our spirits up and moving on.

Thank god ice is here… city officials do not want to uphold the law and keep the people safe here in San Francisco. When you look around the streets, you see more homeless immigrants on drugs, throwing needles and trash around becoming a problem for businesses and people and families that live here and pay taxes this shit has got to end immediately thank God.

I love your videos as you know, but I don't really think so. I mean this is early right? And it's been COLD, for here anyway, heh. I live here, and haven't seen that much less people out. Also a much smaller percentage of undocumented in the city than elsewhere....south...and towards the farms......most latinos in SF are native born , for generations..even to before much white people.........and or legal... yes ...we have 'illegal' day laborers and all....I know...but still...just my two cents. Solidarity to all workers I will add.

The mission area has never been an area of high crime! I used hang out in the mission in the 70s and 80s! The people have always been cool! Outsiders are the ones who cause trouble!!

Its low but definitely not because reports of ICE in the city! If you are a real SF native and not one of these outsiders that act like they know. you would know the murder violence rate is down from the 80's and 90's and early 2000's. Yes crime is definitely low! SF is a beautiful city!

The Mission once was nice and clean in the 60's. It's now little Mexico. True facts, I once walked a model from NY in the Mission and she said she didn't feel safe which is funny someone from NY to say.

New York City is ironically safer . I lived in San Francisco from 2002-2015. Now I live in NYC and they say it's supposed to be the safest biggest city in the US. I don't feel safe out here with all the subway crimes. People being lit on fire, pushed in the tracks etc. I'm ready to go back to SF.

Mission St. Needs to Change, Looks like Third World Country. Dirty, unsafe for visitors, gangs, all kind of stuff. Sucks
