Joyce was a very special friend to me. The world has truly lost a light when Joyce went down in the plane! She touched so many people with a calm, quiet presence that at the same time was a very dominant aura that you could not miss! God made only one Joyce Lin! I believe the memory of her positive effect on people like me, will never fade. Though extremely humble, she had a force about her that you didn’t even realize the enormity of, until recognizing how much you changed upon meeting her! Knowing Joyce has been more than a blessing to me! I guess that’s why when a new wave of grief hits me, it’s very painful, as in there goes another box of tissues! Then when the wave subsides, I feel a calm happiness not just inside me, but knowing that though her life was way too short by human standards, God has blessed her by taking her out of a painful world. She can skip all the hurt, stress, bad and enjoy peace until the Second Coming where I know she will be in the presence of Light Glory & Love!

I just got back from church viewing of the movie Ends of the Earth and was made aware of Joyce, her work and unfortunate passing..... as we know she's in Glory now...and you and all us Believers we be united some day. Take care Claire, neat to know you actually knew her personally. Barry
