As a rule, Christians obey the government as peaceful and non-violent citizens. Yet, because their supreme allegiance remains to Christ, there are exceptions to the rule, and they must discern when and how they are to civilly disregard government, in order to maintain a pure conscience before God.

Thank you for this. I live in British Columbia, Canada where things are so backward. My own church (which I attended for 20+ years, a Bible teaching Baptist church) decided to ostracize any family which didn't follow the government mandates during the last 3 years. Lost quite a few families in the process. I enjoyed listening to this sermon, mainly because of the willingness and boldness to stand against corrupt and evil cultural systems. Thank you 🙏
