I am such as old fashion country girl that loves old houses with porches. If I could I would have one going all around my entire house. I love watching all these old small cities in the Delta that my father took us to when we lived in Grace. It makes me a little sad, people are living that I can relate to the deep south, both parents are gone, and on yesterday in Chicago, my last living brother was laid to rest. I have only one sister now living in Greenville, the other four of us are in Chicago and Texas.

I just built a small covered porch over the weekend. Lumber is so high we had to go 6’ deep instead of the 10’ deep we wanted too have….The average person they are pricing us out..

I know the feeling. I made the decision to move out of Mississippi to up North. I knew it was a decision I needed to make but my heart will always be in Ms where my family use to live but most have passed on.

I am in Indiana one of my cats got stowed away on the moving van and ended up in Chicago, he a Chicago cat now

I filmed Yazoo City with my GoPro Hero 8. Sometimes I use my IPhone to film if I’m filming from the Mississippi River Bridge. I use IMovie and DaVinci Resolve 18 video editors.

When I see old, abandoned homes it causes me to wonder about people who once lived in them! Were children running around, what was life like then. It's just one of my quirks! Beautiful video!

Once I watched a movie called my dog skyp which takes place in yazzo, is about a boy and his friendship with his dog is based in a book written by William Morris. Morris remenbing an honoring the dog of his childhood in Yazoo. Thanks to that story i hve interest i misisipi.
