I remember being homesick as a Private Second Class in South Korea in 2004. I called my mom crying from a payphone and she sang this song to me to cheer me up. 17 years 3 deployments to Afghanistan and 6 duty stations later in 2020.....I'm still living my life like it's GOLDEN.
