Mental illness has such a stigma in our community, and Dr.’s are taught to put a patch on all illness instead of healing us. I've been thinking about writing a book about the 12 zodiacs So the base of the story is the fire signs want more power so they team up with the air signs and plan to take the water and earth signs power. Editing has nothing to do with fame...it is the quality of the finished product and how you present yourself to your customer. It will be hard to get repeat customers or referrals if your book has editing/grammatical errors. It is challenging to edit your own book because your brain begins to overlook errors because you’ve seen the manuscript so much.

Joi Wade No I wasn't saying editing is related to fame. I was saying that I'm not trying to become a famous author and I'm not looking for recognition from my first book which is why I said I don't plan on hiring an editor or spending any unnecessary amount of money when all I want is just a finished book as a self accomplishment. In the future if I want my book to be a best seller, then I will take the necessary steps for that to happen. Right now I just want to say I wrote a book 🤷🏽‍♀️ if people actually read it and like it, then thats even better.

Deja Carter What does editing have to do with fame? 😂 Editing is to have someone proofread your book. There’s a lot of mistakes that the writer doesn’t notice so it’s best to have fresh eyes look at your book. If I read a book and I find errors I’m judging the author and will probably stop reading the book . It’s about being professional not famous.

Thanks for the information I’m 11 In 6th and I want to write a book about a girl raised by wolves I want my audience to be around 7-14 and I want both of my aunts to help me with the cover and a friend to check for grammar mistakes, I’m also naming the book “Leaf Girl the girl raised by wolves” to make my title a little more fun and unique I just run though the base of the story that I have so far, first of all the story starts off with the time of the 1700 and it starts talking about how a 4 year old girl in an orphanage and that she was bullied a lot, and since the orphanage was to poor and the owners where mean, the floor was just dirt so she dug a hole and got out, that’s all I’m going to say so far and I’ll update the comment when I finally publish the book so you guys can check it out :)

You begin with prayer first and then write an outline; like she said. It doesn't have to be a formal outline because it's just for you. Start with Chapter 1 you can name it or you can wait until you've written your major points you want to discuss. Move to the next chapter and continue. Once your outline is done the rest is easy. You can sit down and follow your outline and the book will flow. You can change your outline during the writing process if you want. Next, you'll just need to find the time to complete it. Set deadline as she spoke about in the video. It won't get done unless you start. Start TODAY... Many blessings to you.
