The porter boys were telling you truth, you asked for kilimanjaro they were leading you to the right office, not everyone is there to rip you. Once they show you their ID is a reassurance, the only problem with those guys if you need bags to be carried into the boat and into the cages you need to pay them. You follow them and they'll tell you where to go and what to do and cage number according to the type of ticket i.e economy,business or VIP You could also have added to your video that the ticket prices differ from a resident to a non-resident so people are aware of such issues. I'm surprised you're in Dar but did not show much of Dar whilst you are travelling in the best of transports..the bajaji

It's interesting how in Uganda the primary people-mover is the boda-boda, but in Dar and the rest of Tanzania it is the bajaj. Personally, I prefer the bajaj. 🛺
