all of asia is ALL over wedding photoshoots (or any photo shoot, but especially wedding/engagement ones) usa is so big on wedding culture, i'm surprised it's not catching on here people would pay such big money for it it's a whole production (the place i went in korea was a whole multi-storied studio, including roof, with a million different sets and outfits)

That's pretty unfair as you can do these, ig, in America just without the actual (like you can do the makeup and clothing) setting being accurate to the culture's origin, obviously, and America doesn't have a distinct culture to even have wedding photos based on it, and there are too many different people so therefore different cultures. This country is mostly Europeans, so I've definitely seen some beautiful European wedding photos from Americans in America (we have the skills to do it, lmao, ppl just obviously choose to go to their native countries because most people living in America aren't the natives, unfortunately). I've also seen some damn gorgeous, stereotypical American, Western/1950s style wedding photos, or just Texan/Southern wedding photos, so it's not that America needs to step their game up, it's a preference thing on your part. I don't know why you're expecting America to be the same as Chinese and Korean culture when we're pretty simple in comparison and don't have as many traditions as they do that involve such, honestly, beautiful pieces. And again, this is an immigrant country, there are thousands of cultures and therefore thousands of wedding styles and wedding photographs, it makes literally no sense to compare us to other countries like China and Korea, where China has heavily influenced Korean culture (and the language and other facets of Korean life throughout history), where there is a set culture and history. We aren't the Native Americans like the Chinese/Asians are pretty much native to that region of the world. I'm just tired when ppl dis America without really thinking about what they're saying against it, even when it's casually; I get you're being cheeky or silly, but it's still annoying. I know you're just being playful, your user suggests you're American, but reading your comment made me think "uhhh, that's like comparing apples to oranges."

@@he4rt5 yeah, you're really undermining that it can easily be that way for america too, and has, and currently is. ig americans just dont really ca also, a lot of it is the fact China, influencing Korea, were (before Mao Zedong ruined everything) obsessed with ig glamour and beauty, hence the ornate clothing and building structure; you see that echoed in current Chinese dramas and even Chinese life. but we definitely have companies, stylists, and photographers we just ig never use by the way yall are acting. i personally admire the way they were taken back in the day, even with less advanced cameras. not to get political, but the current state of america isn't exactly the glitz and glam we used to promote about our own damn country, and ppl are definitely more careless about wedding culture in the West now, so there is truth to your statements, i just want yall to know it wasnt always that way.
