Me too- 50 as well - but i am HORRIFIED of photos. I think there is a freakish reaction to what we think we look like in our minds and what a photo shows. Its some weird psychological thing i am sure. But we are not monsters!! We are just humans who age and live in a technological time. I scared my poor dogs when I got the notification of your video. I yelled, "WHAT? YAY. " 😂 My dogs were fast asleep and I startled them😮 Anyway, I'm so happy you decided to upload. I have always loved and admired your vulnerability and how open you are in sharing them. That's not always an easy thing to do❤ I also know what you mean when it comes to uploading content, and how hard it can be doing it on those days you're not feeling confident. I will preface this by saying, you can feel confident at any age, age shouldn't have anything to do with it. But, for me personally, I'm turning 44 this year, and for some reason, I'm way more confident in my insecurities, showing them, owning them, etc than I was when I was younger. It's weird, but I always say i love being in my 40's, and the main reason for that is my confidence. I just don't care 😅 It's like it rolls off my back much easier as I've gotten older, and, the unrealistic photos on Instagram do not effect me like they would have when I was younger. It's unfortunate that our beauty standard has become what it has become, and having my own 20 year old daughter, I see the impact it has on younger girls😢. You are such a beautiful person, inside and out❤ You have helped so many people feel confident in themselves, and you're one incredibly kind, gorgeous woman❤❤ Wear your insecurities like a badge of honor, we all have them, and the funny thing is, the things we are insecure about, know one notices them😅 We're the only one that cares 😂 That is a true statement. (Now I see how beautiful I was few years ago before my disease has come) But I have to tell you that last year I survived cancer and you can't imagine what chemotherapy did to me, to my body (I lost an ovary, and can't have baby) to my skin, my hair, but I am alive and happy with my husband. It’s hard to put yourself out there. But you have a whole community supporting you and looking up on you. You can choose to still post and upload videos on the days when you feel less attractive and a lot of women will follow ❤️ there’s nothing more liberating than accepting yourself at every step of your journey, physically, emotionally and mentally. Life changes and with it, so do we. Change is beautiful, and accepting is transformative. You were and are just as beautiful, 15 pounds more or less. I wanted to give you a big hug at the beginning of this video! You are fabulous & successful & seem very real & kind. I know I struggle with some of the same things when you talked about aging. I try to remember that life really is soooo short & I can’t be wasting my time on those things. Maybe the days you don’t want to be all zoomed in on your face you could vlog? Or I love when you do fashion or home videos!

Teni, I felt like you wanted to cry during this whole video. I’ve been feeling the same thing you’re feeling, especially as I turn 40 this weekend.
