i just listened to your last podcast. and i just want to thank you. it really comforted me. i have been struggling with anxiety and depression really bad this year. i just recently started seeing a therapist. it got bad. the worst part is isolating yourself and thinking “i’m the only one that feels like this”. so your podcast really opened my eyes. i was crying with you. it’s so hard telling people in my life closes to me how i feel. bc they are always trying to make me happy. it’s not that simple and i just want someone to hold my hand with me and not try to be the solution. enough about me! i just really want to thank you for being so honest in your podcast. 💛

Your recent podcast episode was so spot on! Two people living together with their own depression and internal issues is so challenging but being there for someone you love and that loves you back is crucial and a part of life and we always get through it with our compassion and empathy. I understand why you got so emotional because it's intense but it just shows how much you care for your partner and care about being open about it in order to let your audience know they're not alone and it's okay to let it out when you need to. Thanks for being open, it's always needed!

@Depression talk .... this is why I hate people explaining depression because it’s different for everyone and then normal human emotion for an mental illness when it’s not. That’s why 90% of the people I talk to cant understand me because their “depression” isn’t real it’s just sadness.

Is the bush in front of your house an autumn olive bush? if so it is an invasive species that I work to remove in OH and it can be a real pain. It grows very fast and can spread a lot.

Just wanted to hop on and say your latest podcast episode was refreshing to hear. I can relate so much. Also, based on that first song you played on the episode, I feel like you and Finley would enjoy Mount Eerie...particularly the album "A Crow Looked at Me.” He wrote it after his wife passed from cancer. Anyways, love what you are doing so much.

I struggle with depression and i know my partner gets upset sometimes because of it, but when you're in that depressive mindset its so hard to do anything. it was nice to hear what he must be feeling a lot of the time and be able to sympathize with it
