We traveled to Missouri to check out the Ozarks, stopping by St. Louis on the way to see the Gateway Arch. There are 6 districts composing the Mark Twain National Forest within Missouri. We ended up in the Elevenpoint District where we hike portions of the Ozark Trail, explored natural features like the Greer Spring, visited historical sites including the Falling Spring Mill, and camped along the Elevenpoint River. Temperatures were cool in the evening/night, down below freezing, and in the 40s during the day. Beautiful country for sure, and so much more to see!
