I have had tinnitus since diving too deep into a pool as a kid. When I got chemo last year it made it so much worse I had to go to a specialist to get my hearing tested & may end up needing hearing aids. It's just an extremely loud ringing all the time that gets worse with certain things. I have to have a fan running when I sleep or the ringing will keep me awake.
@morganmiller8010Күн бұрын
Same. I neeeeeed the fan. The best noise. I immediately wake up if the power goes out of something.

I got my hearing aids for tinnitus in May of ‘24. I love them. It doesn’t cure it obviously but I don’t notice it as much when I’m wearing them. Hope you find relief for yours.

I am also self diagnosed with tinnitus. I have a constant ringing/screeching/static (it’s hard to explain) in my ears. I think it’s from years and years of loud music. My hearing has also diminished. I think it can also be a genetic thing because my grandparents had hearing aids, my aunt is diagnosed with tinnitus, and my mom is as well.

I once in a blue get that same sharp sound in my ear and i noticed it was usally right before my period so i looked it up at it says Fluctuations in estrogen and progesterone during the menstrual cycle can affect fluid levels in the inner ear, potentially causing changes in hearing perception and triggering tinnitus symptoms. Which makes sense since it only happens once in a while.

I get the ear thing randomly too. I have been to quite a few loud live music shows, worked on building sites without ear protection, and also have spondylitis which is a muscular skeletal disorder. Thankfully the episodes I experience are few and far between, but freak me out when they happen. I really feel sorry for the people who can have it all the time.

@stephtaylor6292Күн бұрын
its probably not tinnitus if its not chronic/ most of the time. but yeah i get a high pitch ear thingy randomly sometimes also... Im pretty sure its a nerve thing... not a big deal, bodies are weird and sometimes muscles and nerves pull on other muscles and nerves from specific stimulation, its most likely literally nothing and just your body being a body and activating different nerves at times. ...but if youre worried, nect time youre at the doctor maybe let them know and get a check up on brain/ear things for peace of mind.

@chelled.4622Күн бұрын
Aww no Stevie 🙁 maybe she was scared of the high pitched noise cuz my cats sure were lol. Felt so bad for Abbie when the pizza fell apart, you handled it so well though like no worries its all going in the same place, yum yum in my tum :)
@jixxter3 сағат бұрын
If you put the tortilla in with nothing on top the air may suck it up to the top because there's nothing to weigh it down set a knife or spoon. Only all metal to weigh it down. Also if you had that little pizza at the bottom with no space around the edges the air couldn't circulate around to the bottom which is why the bottom didn't get a chance to crisp. Airfryers literally saved my life. Hard boil eggs in there, veggies, meats, bake. They do everything!!!

The chip strap reminds me of when i got my wisdom teeth removed and they gave me a wrap that could hold ice/heat packs to my cheeks. For some resaon i still had to wear the wrap even if i didnt have the ice/heat packs because my face felt super swollen and heavy. I even slept in it for a week after my face felt fine again because it became a comfort item. Now i sleep with my hand on my face and blanket laying on the other side of my cheek to simulate that😂

Your mom likely knows a fair amount about tinnitus or who to make an appointment with, because your brother has hearing loss. My family has at least 6 generations of hearing loss. At Costco if you have a membership (I know you do) you can get your hearing checked. It’s easy peasy (make an appointment through). That’s where I get my hearing aids.

I have tinnitus in my left ear. Due to a lot of health issues in the ENT as a child. So, that screech is something I hear regularly. My Dr. thinks it's peculiar that after all these years, as often as it happens that I still react to it like everyone else.

I can't live without my Ninja Foodie 😅 it can do a lot including being an air fryer. It's so much quicker than heating up the oven and it saves energy 😊 When you hear that sound for a short time I've learned that's when you lose that pitch of sound 😅 I have chronic tendinitis and it's a continuous sound and it drives me up the wall when it's to quit around me 😢

The high-pitched noise in your ear is called tinnitus, it is the inner ear little follicle hair things inside the ear something happened and it damaged some and they fell off. Also you could sometimes get tinnitus if you've had a lot of sodium. There are a lot of different reasons why but it is not uncommon. Also can happen if you've had Covid before

I've had tinnitus constantly for as long as I can remember. Not sure why. But I get the screeching occasionally too. When that happens, I say out loud, "Lower frequency, please." That usually makes it stop. No idea why. 😅
@patriciagallant8133Күн бұрын
The sound you heard, once in a blue moon, is different from Tinnitus I am sure because I have Tinnitus.... ringing in my ears 24/7, worse when I'm exposed to loud noise like a concert (which I don't go to but you know what I mean). But I also get that random loud screeching sound in my ear once in a while. That is separate from Tinnitus. I believe everyone gets the odd ringing in their ear. I remember it happening once in awhile my whole life. My Tinnitus started about 30 years ago (I'm 62). It is chronic. Sometimes louder than other times. But totally different from that one loud screech one gets once in awhile. Not a doctor, just know what I have experienced.
@Krisdogwisperer95Күн бұрын
Tinnitus is a constant ringing. Not just for a few seconds. The sound you heard is actually pretty common. I get it quite a bit. I feel like it is just slight hearing loss. But being around loud people or situations or in my case ..(and yours now) listening on headphones for an extended period of time.

I think its Highly likely Tinnitius especially for anyone who works in Media Production /Music both High exposure to Audio Sound esp witg Editing that is alao concentrates adudio focus combined with sitting at the Computer that can cause Neck, Head, Shoulder Strain or posture issues.. I have Tinmitus that started when I first went to Uni clubning & I was a Music Student! I had a good 10-15yr break with temp flare ups but tbe past year or so its Come back a lot worse & I have Chronic Migraines. I have been testing LED Red Light Therwpy ear plugs that has made a significant reduction in my Tinnitus Highly Reccomend!
