Missy represented true Hip Hop. The way she rapped while also mixing in the dances and Hip Hop fashion. The way she did it was perfect.

Missy always had some of the best videos and dancers. She was inclusive of all races without being all 'hey look at me; she was LGBT-friendly, outspoken about black lives, about body positivity. But it was so natural. She didn't need a whole campaign saying 'this is what im saying', she just did what she did by proving herself from the beaten ground and there will never be another artist like her.
@echofoxtrot2.0512 жыл бұрын
That's because she was being herself, which is awesome. Not virtue signaling constantly like so many artists today. Worst trend that ever happened to celebrities, in my opinion. That and "cancel culture".

The Japanese dancers broke so many stereotypes when they did this song with Missy Eillot. I love Missy so much she was way ahead of her time and literally the queen when it came to visuals and aesthetics.😭❤❤❤👏👏👏
@buttarain275 жыл бұрын
What stereotypes? That they like hip-hop or can dance or pop? You're really late then.
@hirmahuerta74205 жыл бұрын
Haha lol
@buttarain275 жыл бұрын
@Emmanuel Lagace You obviously missed my point, maybe you don't know what you're talking about. If the op means that the Japanese dancers broke such stereotypes as; Asians can't dance, Asians don't like hip-hop, Japanese people can't dance or Japanese people don't like hip-hop...etc. Then my statement still stands, that the op is late to the game. They've been deep in hip-hop culture for years (Asians and or Japanese, just to clarify, just in case you misunderstand my statement again) . I've seen it personally in both Japan and Korea for over a decade (lived in BOTH places). So I guess you don't even know what the op is talking about.
