A cold mist that hugged the earth moved over the landscape keeping the rhinos & elephants close together whilst the giraffes undertook a necking duel in a show of dominance. The notorious Kambua Queens cut a fearsome figure♛Relationships within a lion pride can be quite complex & the situation can get volatile but the dust soon settles & differences are ironed out. The Ndzhenga male makes his presence felt by roaring leaving the Kambula girls to settle down under the King's authority. Not to be outdone, it's now the Ndzhenga males who put on a show of dominance between the brothers & a favourite girl who is carefully guarded. Handsome & wise warrior Inyathini, is a big boy & still determined to hold onto his territory, what a remarkable & exceptional journey. You can't beat that Sand River running free, picturesque landscape of breathtaking grandeur. Thank you so much, *𝓜𝓪𝓵𝓪𝓜𝓪𝓵𝓪*👍❤️😍Spectacular viewing.

Oh man so much drama within the pride. I’m sure things will eventually settle down for them. That one lioness towards the end is either very full from a meal or she’s heavily pregnant. Considering the fact the rest of the pride bellies doesn’t look as big as hers I’m assuming it wasn’t a meal and she is indeed pregnant. Hopefully the magnificent girl will have a safe delivery and be able raise her cubs into adulthood.

What I truly love about high quality videos of this sort is that they display, for the most part, the true nature of how these animals live and strive to survive in their natural environments. As much as I have loved shows like Nature, Life On Earth, Nat Geo docs...all of which are great in their own way they are not true to nature. They are heavily edited with slow motion and extreme closeup camera shots that serve primarily to cater to our need to be entertained. These shows do their best to evoke and bring out every single human emotion possible. Dont even get me started on the use of music to evoke emotion. Its all very manipulative and completely unnatural.

Hopefully those Plane Camp male lions don’t start killing the Kambula male lions because they are split and young. Something about them brings fear and their possibilities of gaining more territory and prides does not seem far of. Only the pride males of the Kambulas but even then 2vs 2 they seem very confident and strong to kill another pride male lion.

I think you are right dominance’s change. Who is to say once they ran of the sub adults males and the last dominant male lion there was an established order. Now there are lionesses maybe dominance is changing. If those Cubs are the Birmingham’s male lions or North Avocas those lions had to run or keep them safe. Then the maybe the lioness with Cubs are more aggressive and stay with pride. Then their daughters and nieces also choose somebody which who they will choose sides with and it maybe the least dominant leading the dominant lioness to not be so dominant.
