Good video, bro. I didnt know that people have a hard time getting food. I normally get a lot of canned food from drops. Once a week (in game week), I'll go around and get all the bears (usually 3) and deer (usually 2). Thats more than enough food for you. lol.

yeah food isn't an issue once you know the game but some newish players seem to have the problem, it comes up from time to time in comments here and on steam

Great info. I saw that if you dry meat, the game grabs the first one in line even if it has been cooked, so drop or store cooked meat first?

you can make dried meat from cooked or raw meat so drop what ever meat you don't want to dry, will have to look but pretty sure it takes it from the left side working right from the top down

I've been farming the infected and noticed a marked lack of salt lately, hence killing the bear pays less dividend as I cant dry and salt most of it. I have to cook it and that only lasts a couple of days before it disappears due to going to 0%

yeah sometimes salt can be an issue for me as well, its really hit or miss to how much you get, I do like chickens for food in those instances

how do you put meat on drying racks? I don't seem to be able to figure it out. I can put animal guts on the racks but not meat. It will only let me salt it.

you salt the meat and then put that on the drying rack

Is anyone having a gasoline shortage issue with this game? On my game the cars are no longer spawning gasoline. In essence I now have a finite amount of gasoline to use. Since the vehicles only run on gas and not bio-fuel then I'm eventually going to be stuck walking. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem?

gas should spawn after 30 days in game, not every vehicle will have gas in it, but after 30 days if its not respawning then something is wrong with your game, the vehicle doesn't use much gas but if you have to just use the magik cabinet

@@Viper1392000 Thanks for the reply. It's been around 100 days since gas spawned in any of the vehicles. I am on day 607, so maybe there is a glitch or a limit on the number of days that gasoline will spawn.

@@GunChronicles Thats a ton of days, one thing that you can try that works for some weird bugs is to get rid of the small files in your save folder the 1-2 kb files the ones named GameProgress, mst_opt_sav and the MST_loc files. Just be sure you don't delete the files MST, MST_0, MST_1, MST_2, MST_3, MST_4, MST_5 these files should be several MB in size or 1,000kb-25000kb and higher in size and these files are where your actual progress is stored. Just the small 1-2 kb files are safe to delete. Could also try editing the save file to force the loot to respawn and see if that fixes it but you would definitely want to make a backup just in case.

Try reloading your game, maybe switch bases and see if that clears it up. Think I have seen this bug before but its been a while. Its kinda dumb that after you press say 1 for talk after that you have to use your mouse and lose the options for using the numbers.

I had an issue where all three were stuck in the doorway of the white house 3 feet off the ground. I couldn't really interact with them and had to crouch to get in and out of the house. I switched my base and then switched back again. That worked.
