I have called UKVI for my vignette correction on 28.07.2022 and no help from Home office and and re escalated on 17.08.2022 on completion of 15 working days. On 2nd escalation again they gave me fresh complaint number and informed me it will be done in 15 working days. I have no idea how many times they will tell 15 working days. I feel flying in space with upside down position now.

Hey, if you’ve submitted the application with the mistake, the easiest thing to do would be to get in touch with the UKVI of your country through the enquiry form. In the enquiry form you can mention that you haven’t paid anything yet. They will assist.

Hey, just need a quick suggestion. I made a mistake in the UK students visa form. Under Course Details section of the form there was a question which said if my parent(s) or legal guardian(s) already paid any of my course and accomodation fees, to which the one filling my application ticked 'YES' and then mentioned to refer to CAS for proof. Actually I have received full scholarship by my college for my tution fee and accomodation and no amount was paid by my parents or guardians. In the form itself there was another question which said if I'll be receiving money from an official financial sponsor for continuing my studies, to which we again ticked YES and mentioned to refer to CAS for proof.. will it create any problem for me to get the visa or should I contact the query department as mentioned by you?

Hey, as far as I know, minor errors are overlooked. I made a minor error in my application and it didn’t turn out to be a problem. But what you wrote seems to be sort of a major thing. There are a couple of things I did when I had visa related issue. I’m just going to mention them here and you can see whichever seems like a good option for you: 1. I got in touch with my university’s visa related support team for advice 2. I directly got in touch with UKVI via online query 3. I didn’t do this but I suggest, if you have an education counsellor, seek advice from them. 4. Something you can also do is to wait and see if it actually becomes a problem or not. Because your CAS mentions that you’ve received a scholarship. So, if things go well, they might assume that the previous point was a slight error on your part and may overlook it. I really hope you sort things out and get your visa soon. All the best!

Hello! I have a question regarding finding accommodations as a graduate. I have an international friend that recently graduated in the UK, and because of certain circumstances and to avoid being homeless she had to move back to her home country before she could even apply for the graduate visa. Im wondering what the best approach this due to them needing a guarantee to even get apartment so they can apply for their graduate visa. Thank you in advance!

Hey! It’s a little hard for me to answer since I have not even begun my course, let alone graduate. However, one thing that comes to my mind immediately is that you can start searching for a place to stay long before your accommodation contract (the place you’ll be staying while at uni) ends. That way you’ll have a lot of time in hand and finding accommodation will not be a last minute thing. Moreover, you can go for long term contracts after physically checking the new accommodation. This would probably ensure that you have a place to stay for a long time. Maybe you can consider booking the place even before your course ends. It might be a slight financial loss but at least a place is guaranteed. This is because every one else will apply for a place to stay after you, probably towards the very end of their course. That’s when there is a rush and low availability of accommodations. This is all I can think of for now. I hope this would be of some help! Thanks for watching my video and reaching out!

Hey, I had the same issue. Please contact UKVI, using the online form (link in description). It’s a paid service. Tell them about the issue in your visa vignette. They’ll tell you the necessary steps you need to take. For me, I was asked to submit my passport to the vfs office for visa vignette rectification. I got back my passport after correction in about 7 days. They’ll probably ask you to do something similar. Just get in touch with them asap. Good luck!

I had sent an enquiry to UKVI before going to the vfs office. Through an email, the UKVI asked me to submit my passport at the vfs office. For going to the vfs office you don’t need to book an appointment, just carry a print out of the email that you’ve received from UKVI.

Heyy thank you for this information! I had received my visa on 18th august 2022 and UKVI made a big blunder in my visa sticker. The validity of the visa was stated below VALID FROM : 16/08/19 VALID TILL: 14/11/19. They have entered the wrong year (2019). It should have been 16/08/22 . On same day i raised a query from VFS GLOBAL (VAC) and today (19th august 2022) i submitted my passport again! Any idea when can i expect my visa after getting rectified?

Hey, I faced the same issue. But what happened was UKVI emailed me and said they have made a mistake in the name in my visa and to resubmit my pp for correction. We have resubmitted the pp on 19th July and so far mono response from them. 😔😔

On the 7th of Dec, I went to collect my visa which is a month after decision was made. I noticed at the collection center that the valid and expiry date were 02/01/22 to 02/04/22 immediately I reported to the official, he retrieved my passport there and then and said I would be contacted. But I got to know about the UKVI online contact 4 days later and then made a query and the reply from UKVI was I would be contacted within 5 working days. Now it's 6 days since I returned my passport and 2 days since I made the online query. Another issue I have is that the date on the success decision mail sent to me, my Leave to Enter stated far earlier date, it's supposed to be 02/01/23 but I was given 02/01/22 . I am eagerly waiting to get a positive response either from UKVI or the visa collection centre.

Hi Anu, I gave my biometrics on 14th December skilled worker priority visa, and I checked through VFS tracking. They mentioned that decision made on your visa on 21dec and next day I visited VFS they said we found passport number mistake on your visa in place of “0” they mentioned “O” somewhere and we informed to UKVI about this issue and waiting for their feedback. . Any idea pls adviseAnd I did paid enquiry for the same and I got feedback as decision made for your application please wait for the outcome

Oh! So sorry for the late response. I got my passport back with the visa corrected on the 9th day but the corrected BRP letter wasn't sent so I was told at the collection centre to contact UKVI through this link: www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-inside-outside-uk. Which I did and in 2 working days, I got the letter. Though I had to contact UKVI twice about the issue, the first time, I didn't get a response (even though I was told my query was sent and given a ticket number) probably because I didn't fill the form properly, I was supposed to click 'YES' for the column of an existing application but I left it at 'NO'. So I had to click yes the second time when contacting UKVI and filled the other information that popped up such like,, GWF, my country, IHS number etc and the response was swift. Thanks Anusoma for this video, it gave me great insight and hope.
