1. £298 is your visa fee. 2. if visa is refused you won't get your £298 back. 3. go to the bank and ask for 30 days "bank statement ", don't need to convert it into fixed deposit.

For example if you’re applying for UK visa application on April 30 then You need to obtain the bank statement from at least March 2 to April 30. It should demonstrate that the required amount was continuously present in your account for 28 days, and on the day of application, which is April 30, that amount was still being maintained.

use only Passport one... Passport is an International identity and they will acknowledge that only.. And if you get selected in the ballot, you only would need to show graduation documents, not 10th.. But if any case like this comes where name is different from passport, then we attach a same name affidavit in the visa file which states that both people are same.
