Love these player reviews! It's really hard sometimes to judge where mistakes are done when we're looking at our own footage so having a 3rd party opinion really helps. Thanks for doing this guys! Cheers from MY🇲🇾

Thank you for the video and for giving me some good feedback. I struggle with my defense for sure and I can’t wait to implement your suggestions. I clearly have some bad habits with not only my left leg being way too far forward but also not using the backhand grip enough Especially do I struggle with when I am on the left side of the court and the opponent does a cross court smash ….thanks again for featuring my video and for the tips !

I am struggling with the lighting. Where we play the lights are so bright they are in your eyes and i wear glasses as well. I lose sight of the shuttle when its a high lift and miss it completely. Any idea what i can do? Also when i go to hit the shuttle at its highest point it just ends up going chest height and doesn't really go downwards, any tips please? Thanks
@JacobsBadminton2 жыл бұрын
When you play in halls with bad lightning etc, remember it’s the same for your opponents and you’ll need to adapt your game and be more attacking or creating scenarios where your less likely going to struggle.
@JacobsBadminton2 жыл бұрын
Your shots going to flat could be a grip or positioning issue. Check out our smash’s dos and don’ts video to help you.

Hey i hope u read my comment .. I am so much confused about the overhead techniques as you said keeping the racket low will make make your overhead shots look rushed but when i keep my racket face up .i am not able to generate enough power /timing and it doesn't feel natural to me.i dont know what to do about that.😭
@JacobsBadminton2 жыл бұрын
It won’t feel natural until you practice it and it becomes second nature. You can see the difference it makes in the overhead technique and adds deception. If you’ve got a good throwing/whip action for your overhead technique then the shorter hitting zone will give you more power, this action will allow you to time the shot better and the compact action will be more power than a long swing.
