Ty chief, just tryna rank up, I’m in s1 but sometimes I win 10 games in a row but then lose 2, no rank up. The one time I got 2 16-0s, no rank up. I get a smurf on the enemy team and lose 14-16 I derank. I don’t carry all the time but I do get like 20 kills per game

@@hola_chelo I was Nova 3 last week and I can hold banana ct side on my own. I am mg1 now with only 320 hours of cs so I don't think you should generalize. Should've been mg2 now but got lose streaks because of cheaters who go blatant the moment they are losing af, good thing trusted mode got launched recently.

@@LoneXRangerz You have 300 hours man, you can't say you know how to hold a site, literally people in global don't know how to. Trust me, you don't know, but it's ok, not knowing is ok, that's what is fun, learning how to play and improving. And if you should've been an MG2 you would've been one, because everyone faces what you face through matchmaking. @@LoneXRangerz you cant't hold banana ct side on your own. Just trust me. I'm faceit 8 and personally, Inferno is my best map right now. I'm usually the pit/apps player but I know enough about B. Nothing against you or anything but straight fact. Holding B is with 2 players is the default and when you want to take control of Banana, you usually send 3 players to banana and then rotate off once you have that map control. With just 1 player, it's way too hard. For example on T side, 1 play my team loves to do is to get to car by the first 2 guys bouncing 2 flashes each player off the wall above car. Then, we do 2 smokes Coffin and Ct, then 3 mollies, (I throw New box molly, another teammate is boosted on top of half wall to throw Dark/emo molly(whatever u call it), then 3rd guy mollies Oranges. The guy smoking coffin will throw a jumpthrow popflash to blind anyone site, which they will be in the open in site because of the 3 mollies, and the flash is our "god flash" so unless they smoke the molly and hide in any of the 3 mentioned spots, they should be blind. Honestly, it's a bit risky to run up banana with only 4 flashes and no mollies, but the trade-off is huge as it's extremely difficult to stop a full molly B exec. The postplant will be amazing as well considering we will have 2 mollies and 3 smokes to use. My point is that it's near impossible to hold B with only 1 person. You can't even play anti-flash considering that you don't have a teammate to play with so you have to give up car pretty early on. Even if they don't do the full molly exec, it's way too hard to hold B solo. The most common B take late round after a default of taking banana, then working mid, and coming back to B, would probably be something like having a molotov New box, smoke ct and coffin, and the standard pop flash. Even this is too hard for solo player to hold but if theres 2 players, not only is there possibilties for crossfires and different boost setups, you can also have ur teammate flash for you to swing out etc. A common thing that is done is the ct players backs of when he's smoked and he waits for the arch player, who should be rotating as soon as he hears the exec. As soon as the arch player is in ct, he can throw a flash for the ct player to push through the smoke and if ur site player has done a good job at not dying and keeping their attention on him ,they should be caught by the flash. the ct player can get atleast 1 kill, and hopefully 2, and it becomes a much easier round as the chaos caused by the ct guy pushing the smoke will delay them even more and buy time for rotations. Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that you shouldn't be playing solo B in your standard rounds. The reason you probably have some sort of success holding B solo, is because the enemy team doesn't have any idea how to take B. I remember all i knew before was how to smoke CT and we just went in. Coffin is such a strong position that u really need a smoke there. Same for New box, you really need a molly there or he will just kill u and teammates can flash for him, and he can repeek infinitely and delay for rotations. If you have a set strat, or maybe ur team wants to push mid and u solo b, sure. If ur team wants to take banana and sends 3 guys there, sure. But in standard rounds, u want to play 3 - 2 setup.

Dust 2 101 - 1.Take Long or Cat as CT so you only need to defend one side. Long is more favorable since Cat is easier to defend and retake is easier when you have Long control. When taking Long control, 3 men take are more advantageous. First guy always molly doors, second guy helps to shoot and the third guy counter flashes for your team to set up for success. After taking Long, place one guy close door or pit to defend and one guy should rotate somewhere CT or Ramp. 2. Prioritize Awp on dust 2, double save when necessary for successful rounds. 3. Know your nades, Long cross smoke, and site/goose molly. Stop throwing trash cross smokes that kill your teammates.

Then stop crossing the same spot with the same timing. There is no way they get you every round with a single bullet when you can run through at any given time in a different position. Obviously some lucky shots happen no matter what though if their AWPer tries to shoot at the start of every round

I hide on B only if we are playing somethin like 4v2 and my long guys had a lot of contact on long. Then even if the two guys go B since they got already rekt and are 2v4, at least in matchmaking they wont check the corner and even if they do I still have the advantage. Of course if I am holding B solo with an awp or a more balanced round like 5v4, I play car or site. Thanks for the great video btw!

These seem to have been pre-recorded a long time ago, but if you are going to make "MDL Pro Tip" videos, could you at least try and make them somewhat high level or geared towards a team environment. These videos are probably super helpful for a lot of new players, but they focus heavily on individual plays or the decisions one person should be making. You are often referencing if you have a team you might do this, but if you don't do this. It would be really awesome to see separate videos geared for both of those separate situations because there aren't many good team-based videos out there. After watching these past two videos they have really fallen flat in terms of the high-level understanding that you could provide.

Even gold novas which are pretty low yet the most common rank from some stat I saw, should have atleast half of them queueing with friends. 5 man Team queues, are mostly for higher levels but usually, unless ur silver, it shouldn't be 80% of the rank solo queueing.
