Karkat mentions that he didnt know who the second batch of wrigglers were, and we know from johns cloning sequence that you can see the subject youre cloning; this implies that karkat knew who the *first* batch were, because he saw them from the viewports and recognized his friends, making them the first batch, and the pre-scratch trolls the second batch, made from the combined material.

hey, just want you to know that i deeply appreciate this series!! i love how much research and care you put into them. karkat's video is actually my favorite video, and i'm not sure if it's because it was about karkat, whom i love dearly, or because it had loads and loads of little nuanced information that i found really interesting, like the text color hex thing. i think kanaya's fridgestuck video was actually the first one i came across (which is rather fitting, considering my sign is virgo), and honestly, i've loved it ever since. keep up the good work, but don't be afraid to take care of yourself if you need to!!

So, the Aradia video. The video itself only has 18 actual dislikes, but 1k likes. So take that for what it's worth. It's not sweeping under the rug if you acknowledge it's a re-upload with a change. If you wanted to clean this up, I would upload a version where you cut the martyr speech, link to the old one in the description, and replace it in the Playlist with the new one. You could also try to remove the copyright claimed stuff, but I don't have a good sense for how integral that is to the video. If you want to be extra careful, you could record a brief message pointing out that there's an alternate version, and that this is an edited re-upload.

Jen is the reason that i’m more tolerant of christians. my family is all very religious and believe in god but due to some of their actions towards me and others i came to resent the religions and it’s followers as a whole. since i basically grew up with this series, she made me more comfortable with the idea that religious people are not always abusers and forcing everything onto people. it’s actually quite therapeutic for me to go to christian services now with my family to make up for years of us not going and the years when i was little where i belittled them for a religion that wasn’t the reason for how they acted, just happened to be a big part of who they were.

It's videos like this that give homestuck value, allowing me to piece together something that was probably really awesome back in the day. Thank you for this~ Parts of the fanbase have completely forgotten what brought them to the comic in the first place. I have recieved some very inane explanations such as how homestuck is about frogs or that the entire thing was just caliborn entering in commands. So why was it not Rose behind that console instead? Why did the frogs never get themselves boiled in a pot or eaten by Jude's snake? Some very meaningful discussion could be had around this but the clowns won't have any of it A story about switching houses might attempt to be the opposite of a story about being stuck in a house. Homestuck had a lot of Christian motifs, so Hiveswap might instead show their opposition potentially referencing religions such as Wicca or Buddhism. Homestuck was a violent thing, so Hiveswap might instead give us a story about pacifism. Homestuck was a save-the-world story, so Hiveswap might instead be about tearing things apart~

This video made me double check Calliope pronunciation. So, apparently Calliope's trollsona is Callie Ohpeee, with the h before the p. I never noticed that before. I thought it was the other way, especially since ophidian means snakelike. Either way it more closely matches the way the muse is pronounced. I pronounce the instrument, the Greek Muse, and the Cherub identically. The pronunciation controversy is pretty old: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calliope_(music)#Pronunciation The alternate pronunciation seems to be ope as in hope.

Not to add a wrench to your headache but stelsa being troll jewish is largly a pun. A double pun actually. See, a thing in judism is rejecting jesus as a holy figure, recognizing he was a person that lived, jesus of nazareth, but he wasnt the son of god nor did he have super powers. Stelsa as seen in her friendsim, rejects the idea of cultural uprising and prefers the caste system being organized as is, rejecting the ideals of the sufferer, who is troll jesus. She rejects troll jesus, so she is troll jewish. Additionally, stelsa is the only alternian tealblood that we know of whos name doesnt start with a T (terezi tagora tyzias tirona and tegiri) but thats because her full name is stelsa sezyat, and in hebrew, the language of judism, words are written right to left, meaning her true name if read in a hebrew manner would be tayzes aslets, starting with a T.

Personally to fact about, who was created first, I think it's much more complicated, than ancestor-descendant. While you can make points like these made by people in video and such, I think it's more like brother-brother or sister-sister relations are between a1 and a2 trolls considering, that when it comes to this matter, every character seems to be confused and fact that Sollux and Mituna with their duality of personalities seem to be a lot like Barzum and Baizli.

I'm a comparatively recent viewer, felt iffy on the Fridgestuck stuff since I'm more interested in speculative analysis and lore overviews over probable inspiration for aspects of admittedly interesting details. That said, I still found it entertaining enough to keep on as background noise. Then I saw the Aradia video and I was completely turned off. I've already had too many bad experiences where a KZbinr joins a community laying down interesting facts or analyses and then slowly injecting their religious and/or political beliefs until their videos are more of a soapbox with the original content being actual click bait with maybe five minutes discussing what the title says and 25 going off about something else. One, specifically, started spouting some pretty disgusting things to their young viewer base before disappearing from the internet and deleting the offending videos and comments. I did not want a repeat of any of that horse shit and had my feed stop recommending me your videos because you didn't acknowledge how you felt about your statements in the comments or the description (Doubling down or apologizing, on *that* video, would have made me more inclined to keep watching just so I knew where the channel was heading.) and my cynical nature was anticipating an escalation until you disappeared and deleted videos. All this being said, now that I know where you stand on that little persecution rant, I'm gonna start watching your videos again. I'll stress that this isn't because you're apologetic, I don't care, I just like knowing what kind of train wreck I'm headed towards instead of being surprised by it. Got sick of fandom creators doing this with atheism, got burned by politics in *every* direction, and got curb stomped by religion. If you want my advice, you should put something in the description of that video, cause I'm sure there are plenty of people like me that are just too tired of oncoming drama to give out any more second chances.

I don't know why for even a second you would think that "spending extra time on the amv at the end of the video" would make up for the way you acted during the Aradia video, if it was bothering you and you knew you made a mistake so long ago why are you just now making some kind of formal apology? Like yeah I get it, everyone makes mistakes and to admitted to acting badly and that takes a lot of courage. I just can't figure out why, if you felt bad before you finished editing the video, did you just "spend extra time on the amv as an apology" instead of fixing the actual video before uploading. That to me is like you knew you hecked up but didn't care enough to either change those parts of the video or not upload it. Or literally any other option than "oh I think spending a little more time on something cool at the end of this video still make up for it being such a train wreck instead of just apologizing" or adding an apology to the video description.
