As someone with an accrylic case it's near imposible to get the sd card out. I was going to put everything on a flash drive when I found out about FTP.

Using SCP is even easier personally. On windows get winSCP and just connect to it with root:1 (default credentials)

Yes, WinSCP looks like a good alternative to FileZilla.
