Share my own story: I was also bullied because of my "gay" characteristics! Being a "gay" as a child, I became so afraid to accept who I am. The fear of embarrassment hindered myself from self-acceptance. Due to bullying from childhood until highschool, I experienced that fear as so many people invalidate the existence of "gay" people. Being "gay" was more of a "disease" to be cured, rather than a "gender identity" to explore and celebrate. Nevertheless, I became wiser and realized that my existence was valid. I vanquished the fear of embarrassment and replaced it with a smile in front of all my schoolmates on a big come-out experience during my teenage years. I am gay🏳️‍🌈 and I am really proud of it. My feelings are valid! I love it Philippines! Laban! ✊😊😁💗👑🇵🇭

Hardest and longest wounds to heal are emotional and psychological wounds. But I believe that the universe allows these things to happen to anyone for a reason...to make one a stronger, more resilient, transforming you into a more beautiful person.
