The Mr softee truck is like that favorite Christmas decoration you’ve had in your life as long as you can remember

@@sxymike12 Growing up in NY we had so many great experiences this being a small thing but with a huge happy memory. Thank goodness this is an institution that has survived. I always enjoyed Mister Softee over just going into Carvel.

@@nisamericausa6226 Some guys have gone rogue but the music they play still uses the same tone. Even if Mr Softee goes under I have a feeling that song is going anywhere, we will probably hear much more of it.

I grew up in NW New Jersey. We didn't have ice cream trucks on our street because it was a somewhat busy county road with no sidewalks or curbs. The ice cream trucks did go to the housing developments, but they were Good Humor, not Mister Softee. I never heard of Mister Softee till we moved to South Jersey in the 1980s. In fact I never saw a Mister Softee truck till we moved to an over-55 community this year, and one of their trucks started coming here.

Mister Softee was a favorite of all us kids growing up. We loved soft serve ice cream. The catchy music had kids running to the truck as soon as they would hear it. Great memories.

Queens Born and raised and even had my Florida born children get Mr. Softee when we visited back home 😭😭😭😂🤣🤣 #Nostalgia

They came in our MN neighborhood back in the 1960’s, it was like a drive around DQ, great ice cream 👍

I agree. I lived at Marcy Place near Jerome Ave. We live in AZ now. CULTURE SHOCK!!! Mr. Softer brought me back and grounded me for a brief moment. Please do us a favor and subscribe. Be safe.

I’m from Lancaster, PA. I never had these trucks until now. Now I live in Ewing Township, NJ, and considering I’m in a not-so busy street, it’s extremely rare for the ice cream truck to show up. They know us now, so it’s always fun to ask for $5, wait outside, and get a tasty, sweet vanilla dish, and just say hi! Came twice this week! One on Wednesday and another on Saturday! (PS, is there anything you think I should try that I might not know about?)

This was a FAVORITE growing up as a child in New York. Try it in a cup with just Vanilla and have him put nuts on first with a cherry on top. As if he will just put a sprinkle of the cherry juice on it and then have him cover it with the chocolate that they dip the cones in that hardens when it gets cold. It is great breaking through the hard Chocolate shell and nuts. Delicious!!! PLEASE consider giving this a thumbs up and Subscribing to the channel. Much appreciated!
