Why is janemba’s lvl3 mix spacing dependent? Can’t you just hold down after 236s to stay sane side?

The point of the teleport is to create left-right and high-low situations. Same side doesn't really do anything for mix-up, just checks for spark bait and _mayyybe_ a 2L (but that's IF they're not blocking). Since you are too close, the opponent knows that the Janemba won't have that ambiguity to use the mix that the teleport gives. The spacing makes it THAT MUCH UNPREDICTABLE.
