This set is a medium successful copy / clone of the Italeri set made by the Polish company Intech from Krakow. This set was created in the 90s of the twentieth century. The biggest drawbacks are the smooth imitation of the engine's outlet nozzle, seats that are not in accordance with reality, and the lack of the possibility to make the cabin cover in the open position.

I think they renamed their company from mastercraft to mistercraft at some point. This is a polish company, which as you said, relases reboxed kits often ,if not always, and their moulds are mostly old moulds from companies like hasegawa, frog, heller etc, and other polish companies, mostly zts plastyk, with some kits dating back to 1970s, maybe even earlier.

I got a MASTERCRAFT F16C-30 Wisconsin ANG for £5 (€6) in the UKGB. It seems to be identical parts to your version in the video. Detail is poor, especially ejector seats and jet engine tailpipe. But it’s my first modern jet kit. I normally do WWII types. So for the very cheap price I’m going to experiment and attempt to detail it to a Ukrainian version. Then I’ll try the Italiari kit. Thanks for the video!

It's a good idea to use such a kit for practicing! I built 2 italeri F-16 before, they were significantly better than this Mistercraft kit so I'm sure you'll get good results from that. Thanks for your feedback :)

The kit looks like a Italeri clone a very bad one, I bought a couple of them a few years back, for the same price you should have purchased the Revell Germany's F-16 and have an awesome kit!

@@Starfishscalemodeling You'll be glad about your purchase when you start on it, that kit is the best F-16 kit out there, well except for the F-16CJ block 50 from Tamiya that one is a little better but it's a bit more pricey than the Revells

I have a love hate relationship with Mistercraft, their jet kits are god awful, I tried to build their F16 "Aviano AB" and it was just awful, as is their MiG19 kit, however I have built both their Fw190 A4 kit (Which comes with a swastika) and their P51B mustang and both for the price are perfectly reasonable

MIG 15 from Big model , the details are like a toy. really low detail and wrong detail and shape. Hawker hunter , low detail but acceptable. Mig 21 bis , really good ahape acceptable detail. now i'm buying Big model Mig 19 (same kit with mistercraft) I saw in internet it's not bad detail quite beautiful) i'm wait to build. ps. all I said are using same kit with mistercraft.

@@Starfishscalemodeling yeah, it had a lot of moldlines but it fit together alright, just needed a bit of filing in some parts and model putty in others. I just got done spray painting it tonight and will finish the paint job off later.

Definitely not recommend..! Maybe only for decals...! But.. the kit is really bad. Is strange, because have a good diagram and beautiful boxart but, the plastic is bad. Zero details.. a fiasco!

my decals fragmented as soon as they touched the model and plastics vary from plastic spoon type to tupperware ! YUK.

I got the Su-22 "77 JBG kit from these guys, mainly because it was the only kit in the store with DDR markings. Ejection seat detailing was even worse than yours, and one of the decal sheets necessarily for the DDR livery was missing. I'll have to spend as much extra replacing those bits that I would have been as well to buy a proper kit in the first place. So a waste of time unless you're looking for bits to make crash dioramas. Avoid.

Pretty bad kits I have built 2 and my grandson has both . Fit , different plastics , parts from different kits in same box and don;t even get me started on the decals fragmenting -not recommended I thought it was MASTERcraft !!!!
