I've been stuck like that, alone on a sled, miles back in the wilderness on a lake in a deep drift. I dug down with the track to SLUSH. DEEP SLUSH. No shovel only my hands to dig myself out. It took me hours and I'm lucky to be alive and didn't go thru that slush and sink. Scares me just to think back about it.
