Welcome back and to Abelton Live world!!!! I’m a Logic Pro user I picked up AL when they was on version 8 lite I didn’t understand it either!!! Upgraded to 11 last summer a month later 12 had dropped!!!! The light bulb has f😢came on for me!!! I was finally able to finish a full doing and bounce to mp3!!! Thinking about putting some vocals and realizing it!!!

Sometimes it takes a while. You just gotta remember that many people do amazing things with the same stuff we don't like. So it ain't the gear... its just us. 💯

Good stuff! Wrestling between Reason Studios (started in ‘04) left due to lack of VST support at the time and Ableton became my production go to in 2010 and love it but I am getting tiredness of the GUI there’s no diff. color of sections, like one color and no thumbnail like some DAW’s to keep the workflow and creativity process moving, but is very very creatively refreshing! Now I just use Reason Rack extension and be sure to freeze and flatten those tracks after composition…

i hear you. For some visual is a big deal. For me its not. Im more concerned with efficiency and my sound. A DAW can be black and white for all I care... 😄lol! as long as I can get the ideas out.

I love Cubase Pro and I use Cubase Pro, but that doesn't stop me from learning music production from producers who use different DAWs

@ every software sparks a different idea for me If one Daw messes up on me I’ll worry about fixing it later and use something else to keep working on music I also know how to use the Roland SP404 MK2 and the sonicware sampltrek

That's cool!! Crazy cuz I just went to a DAW to mostly to mix master but I might make beats on it. I started using Waveform . There's a free version too. Highly recommend. It even has clip effects!

I was working on BEATMAKER 3 FOR IPAD for about 3yrs. Then just in April I got a MPC MK II. That was hard to transition with, because I wanted to work on it right away and do the things I saw people doing on KZbin. Then I had to just watch videos and trial and error make beats. What I didn’t know I looked up. Now I’m pretty good at making beats, but there is still a lot I don’t know. So, I go to you guys to help me with what I don’t know. You really helped me with the sampling segment. Sample inside a sample. Thanks for that.🙏🙏🙏👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

If you noticed in the video I went get specific help from people face to face for what I want with ableton. That is the sauce. There are things youtube won't teach you no matter how good the tutorial is.

@@IYamChas consistency is the key to learning... without that you will be another one out here spinning your wheels. 1200+ in 3 months. You will be surprised at the people who can't stay consistent with 1 hour a week to pull up and learn. Get to work. 💯

@@philippebackprotips I haven't really made a full MPC tutorial in a while. Everything is mostly designed for all DAWs. I was just using the mpc to do it. We about to do the same with ableton. It will all apply. 💯 How do you like Studio One 7... anything new you use ?

Ableton gotta catch up.. Stem separation is needed at this point and studio one just added that and splice intergration which is crazy

@@Diallo-g2j As much as people are on that now I think it's too much hype. If you can sample really good then stem separation or not the beats will be fire. But it would be nice to have it accessible. 👍🏾

Hey Drank, been checking you out with Ableton. While my MPC X is in repair for usb 3.0 plug. I decided to finally try and learn a DAW. I'm trying Cubase😮,while I'm waiting for my MPC/baby gets fixed. Gonna lock in and finally learn a DAW, for the first time. Yeah I'm late in the game I know,lol.😂

Welcome back my brother,can you help with this issue please, I have registered and downloaded my plugins to my mpc X and even activated them. But I notice every time I switch on my mpc I have to re activate the plugins. this is now becoming annoying.

@@caylan-jaelawrence508 it may be because your account is activated under a different email address. So you have to keep verifying it. Check with Akai. They may have to reset your account. The contact is on the akai website.

Reaper is cheap and poor the stock plugins look like crap and has no instruments most ugly interface and all the themes are super trash But for 60 bucks it will do.

@ honestly limiting was the purpose. I placed my work on countless MTV shows. GTA games on PS etc last many years. Was heavily computer based and needed a break I think.

@@bboymac84 it would be a nice feature but to be honest I learned how to sample from old school producers. Before all the new stuff. If you can do that you don't need any of those features. Just your ability and knowledge. 👍🏾
