why does it doesn't work with a^n-b^n but works with derivative when n < 0

I was wondering that too... Also since n=-1.... The second bracket in the expansion of a^-1 -b^-1 will have -1 term... Which is really weird

I feel like it is weird calling this video "Hyperbola." It should really be "derivative of 1/x." Yes, the graph of 1/x is a hyperbola, but not every hyperbola is the graph of a function, and those that may be need not have a similar derivative

Yea I clicked on the video bcoz of the title . I was like wtf is derivative of a hyperbola

Why is it -1/x^-2 and not 1/x^-2
@pariskastanias56915 жыл бұрын
Consider the power rule nx^(n-1). 1/x is x^(-1). So when you differentiate it, the negative one is equal to n, hence you get -1/x^-2.

How can we factorize 1/a + 1/b ?
@Gooey4 жыл бұрын
You dont
@shauryaagarwal45564 жыл бұрын
@@Gooey actually you can... It will be (a+b)/ab
