The way you explain the terminologies...I always had doubts that why do they call it integration and derivation and so on. Great videos. Lots of Love.

I mean usually if I know the answer I don't say anything because I want others to try and answer and not try to be the center of attention, because after a while its like yes we get it your smart.

It's the same question as you ask...'How many floor tiles needed for this curvy area?'

You have two variables that ordinarily would be multiplied, if one of them were constant at every point along the way while the other changes. When it is constant relative to the other, it is simple multiplication. When one of them isn't constant, you represent this multiplication as area on a graph, and use the techniques of calculus to add up this area along a shape where it isn't as simple as using one of our geometric area formulas for the shape.

simple maths fail...60 plus 100. It gets like that..you don't trust simple answers because you are afraid they are too easy. And you don't want to look stupid! This is where getting up and walking around helps eg, I walk 5 steps now, and then 10 steps. Add the distance. Kids suffer because everything is done on paper, not in reality.
