Thanks eddie @2:07 series can be multiples of 2 or power of 2: 1 ,2,4,8,16 or 1,4,16.. Doesn't that deny the fact we need minimun of 3 numbers? Since 4 is needed in case ive mentioned.

You realize that what you stated is wrong right?
@noskillman65072 жыл бұрын
this comment is really confusing the ''multiples of 2'' are 2, 4, 6, 8, 10... not 1, 2, 4, 8, 16... or 1, 4, 16... the power of 2 are 1, 2, 4, 8, 16... their first 3 numbers are not the same therefore 3 numbers is enough to distinguish them, and 4 is not needed. also, even if we needed 4 numbers, it doesn't deny the fact that we need a mininum of 3 numbers, as 3 < 4

How can the last example work? 2-1+2 = 3, but 1-1+2 isn't 1, 3-1+2 isn't 5, 4-1+2 isn't 7 et cetera. Wouldn't it be T1=1 and Tn = 2n - T1?
@Leopol7 жыл бұрын
the last example is referring to the odd numbers, so by looking at the list you can see that T3=5 and by using the formula, you take T3=T2+2=3+2=5 as you wanted

Oh, thank you. I was using n-1 instead of T(n-1), I just realized this wouldn't be recursion at all.

하람배 that was a great and brief civil discussion, you two. Refreshing to see that on youtube.

Can you guess the next five terms in this sequence R: 7,4,4,5,4,4,0,7,4,?,?,?,?,? These are the more interesting sequences to work with in data science.
