She knows *his* side of the story where he's the victim and the wife the abuser/bully. The wife was cool calm and collected when she corrected the little girls half-truths. If I had been her, I would have been tempted to point out that without her his business would have been no-where near as successful as it was, since she was the real leader/brains where he was the creative mind behind the fireworks themselves which he both wanted and yet resented the wife for being better at the business side of things. It shows he *wanted* to be the big boss but both he and everyone at his company knows he isn't capable in that area, but she is. And he resents her for it. So he got a young thing who believes everything he tells her to boost his ego, purposefully forgetting that so much of what he has is because of the strong woman he married...only remembering when she finds out what a two-faced cheater he is and risks losing it all for the sake of his ego.

I recommend the Kdrama Love(ft. Marriage and Divorce) if you want to see good scenes between wife, husband and mistress. Not that much catfights(just on the one couple ig) but a strong fight through words(not in a vulgar way or anything). Sa Pi Young's character is my everything, her daughter is just like her too. It's a story about three women who undergoes through betrayals from their husbands with different situations, different pains, and different ways of handling. Sometimes the scenes' cuts are random and you'll be confused as to what is the imagination and what is reality, but the show is beautiful(at least for me and my mom). It's currently on its Season 3 and is ongoing. Its first two seasons were under Netflix.

Not only do the breaking up, but even maintains her composure, grace and emotions and deals out facts like cards at a casino Blackjack table. She lets the side piece get all emotional and loud and accusatory and then one-by-one, metaphorically slaps her down with words that she can't possibly argue: you can't argue with the truth. He's so egotistical and so immature that he can't be bothered to take care of his health, avoid foods that he knows are harming his body even though he has a business to run, a wife, and a son that are his family. He eats the wrong foods that damage his organs and doesn't give a fig about his eventual illness might affect those who love him; he's self absorbed and whiny and childish, telling his side piece his wife doesn't understand him, doesn't feed him, etc when all the while those fasting 'suppers' are to allow his body to detox from the damage he's already done, and obviously with the mistress, still doing. That his own health insurance refuses to increase his coverage because he's so reckless with his own health is a huge red flag that only his wife is heeding and trying her best to keep him healthy.
