I haven't received any mail yet but on the mitacs portal it's showing waitlisted. What does that really mean? Does it mean CUC students are given more preference than the waitlisted ones?

Hey vedant, I completed my diploma in mechanical engineering and I am in 3rd year of degree, I got admission in degree in direct second year of engineering and hence the first semester of my degree is 3rd sem, should I only submit degree sem 3 transcript or even my diploma final year which is chronologically equivalent to 1st year of degree?
